Located in the
heart of Thorold, on picturesque Front Street lies a diamond in the
ruff called Spirit of Beauty. Sole proprietor and aesthetician Joanne
Buzila will show you international makeup techniques and skin care
products, including a formal epidermal analysis that will change your
views on what you are putting into your skin.
After studying
in Toronto and Niagara, Joanne settled into Thorold to pursue her
dream of complete client satisfaction with professional aesthetic
techniques. Her unparalleled dedication to the individual needs of
patrons shines in her belief that each person is unique and has certain
requirements. Spirit of beauty encompasses all aspects of beauty and
elevates the clients self esteem and confidence. Consultations on
image, even for those as young as 9-12 years old, and seminars to
uplift self-esteem with professional makeovers are how Joanne helps
you feel like you can take on the world.
International
skin lines include the Southern Californian Bibo. This all-natural
product contains SPF 15 and glides on to protect against free radicals
with an exceptional light scent. Spirit of Beauty is the exclusive
sales outlet for Bibo complete with exfoliators to moisturizers to
serums. The second international skin line is Anthony Braden, based
out of London England. A main ingredient in Braden's line is the herbal
extracts and SPF 15, which allows for an incredible product at a modest
price.
In addition to
aesthetics are Spirit of Beauty's one-of-a-kind décor items.
With a 30 year art background, Joanne's refined taste lead her to
selecting exclusive jewellery, fashion bags, statuary, small furnishings,
candle holders, china, picture frames and prints. Items so exceptional,
they may be showcased in cherished locations through the home and
handed down by each generation as a family heirloom.
Coming soon to
Spirit of Beauty is a designer line called Jezebel Devilish Designs,
accompanying Joanne's personal clothing and accessory line. Jezebel
is created for very trendy yet traditional fashion clientele who want
to keep current and who appreciate the classic pieces.
In Spring 2004,
Spirit of Beauty will expand to include three new additions. First
up is the Spirit Crepery, a healthy stop for those who are not only
looking for an external but internal makeover. Second, a bed and breakfast
where travelers can watch the ships climb the mountain and receive
a spa treatment in one day. Third, a 1000 square foot loft apartment
furnished with skylights, modern décor, kitchen, and a king
size bed.
